...feed the world.
Saw that on the news the last night and thought I'd give it a try. It was Slashdotted all night, so I only got around to playing tonight. It's pretty addictive, Amy and I both had fun (although I probably had more fun since I was driving and she was feeding Bambina), and if the site does what it says, I think it's worth a couple of minutes a night. Enjoy!

Kinda fun. Have to admit I was surprised by how many I got right. By the way on the last post, loved the sock picture! Way cool.
We did this at school last week. I think it's a cool concept.
that is very cool, though i don't know many words past the first three that came up for me. The food crisis has been keeping me up late at night - pretty scary that there are people rioting and killing for food right now.
My vocabulary is pretty bad... but somehow I got quite a few right. But it's always amusing to me when I get one wrong and then 3 words later it comes up again and I still miss it. :-P

Like yourself, I was pleasantly surprised as well. Some of the words I knew from doing crossword puzzles, some of them I was able to figure out from what I deemed to be the root of the word.

You probably already know this, but it was originally started by a guy who wanted to help his son brush up on his vocabulary for writing college entrance essays. Learnin' is fun!

Keep practicing, you'll learn new words and get to feed hungry people in the process! I think the story was partly a follow on to the food crisis, so it was very timely.

You know that if you get it wrong, it tells you what the right answer should have been, yes? :)
Tom... that's the sad part. I'm even looking at the right answer. Obviously not really absorbing it or something. :-P
