Tour of Bambino's Room

At long last, we've finished (more or less) Bambino's room. And since you stopped by, you can get a tour, narrated by yours truly. Warning, the file is pretty big. Lemme know if you have problems viewing the video, we're new at this whole video thingy...

It looks great! You're in the home stretch now! Good luck! I'm thinking of you both!

I liked the the stories behind everything. It shows you value what you've been given. Wow, a hand-made crib! By the way, my mom and dad have that very same small rocker. It's from the 70's isn't it?
Love to both of you!

Yes, the chair is straight from the 70's. When my parents moved last year I got to take a lot of my stuff from the attic/basement. You will also notice the 1970's white dresser with gold trim. We have the matching twin bed frame for future use :)

Me, too! Now, I just need to pad the door jamb so's it doesn't make a loud bang when the door shuts...

Oh I don't think you should fix the banging door. It will give the kid charachter and toughen him/her up! (;

I meant character. oops!

Wow - the room looks great - your mom passed on the link to all the family. It's great to have so many family items or items made by family for your little bambino.

Good Luck :) you are both in our prayers!

Hi Lisa:
Welcome to our blog! Glad you found us. Things are still going well... counting the days.

Joann: The quieting the door is more for me- hee hee.

Looks good, gang! We'll make sure to let the kids see this (when they're awake, that is).

Clever idea about the screen door, but you know that the kid will go right through it later.

Trust me.

Not worried too much about that. I figure the screen door will come down after about a year or so, assuming that Bambino doesn't have any (immediate) siblings...

We showed the kids the video tour this morning. Stephanie (age 4) asked, "But where's the baby?"

Can't wait to see your next post! ;)
